This programme will not only train the entrepreneurs on how to source for funds, start business and make profit while becoming an employer of labour but will also increase the output of goods and services to meet the market demand in the country.
With this call to start our businesses, the writers of this report, which is CUBY’S BESPOKE SHOES in 10 URUA EKPA road in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has proposed to establish a Leather servicing /shoe making and Costume Leather works Outfit in Uyo,the Capital city of Akwa Ibom State because people in the State capital are searching for well-made indigenous shoe wears.
MARKETS FOR THE PRODUCTS
The importance of leather servicing to man cannot be over-emphasized as it is one of the primary needs of man. Men and women of our time changes shoes as they change their cosmetic and every weekend in our society is pregnant with functions and each function requires an entirely new outfit.
People have shifted to buying imported outfit because of its ready to wears nature. But the problem with these products as enumerated by the prospective customers is that the sizes used are obtainable there (abroad) and the makers make mass production. And so the consumers are asking for individualized or personalized kind of outfit that is ready to wear in the shops.
This industry is therefore set to consider these needs by using African Leathers to build ready to wear outfit considering the sizes of our men and women.
THE CONSUMERS
The markets survey recently conducted proved that there is a very high demand for ready to wear indigenous outfit and that the demand is greater than supply, hence the scarcity and high; cost of the product. Given that the ones bought in from Mali and Senegal are really expensive. The consumers can therefore be identified as follows:
1) | Men |
2) | Women |
3) | Children |
4) | Retailers |
5) | Exporte
(6)School
