EREF: Seeking Applications for Sustainable Solid Waste Management Research Programme

Tiina and Antti Herlin Foundation supports scientific research, artistic activities and other projects that advance the goals of the foundation. This year the theme of the 2018 application cycle is Climate Change, and the application period opens on January 15th, 2018 and closes on January 31st, 2018 at 17.00 (UTC+2).

Applications are open to individuals and groups from all nationalities. There are two main categories for application entries:

Research Grants: The Foundation grants both non-defined research grants and yearly or half yearly working grants for scientific work. Non-defined grants for scientific research may be applied e.g. for conferences, to partly fund a research or for research that takes a shorter time than a year or half a year. Research grants may be awarded from the PhD research stage onwards.

Other Grants: Other grants may be applied for artistic activities or for projects relating to the theme in the fields of social well-being, culture, environment and science as well as supporting and promoting research and education purposes in these fields.

Grant funds are available up to 28,000 Euros for research grants.
